From July 6–9, 2026, the 6th edition of ICECET (International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Energy Technologies) brought together global experts in Rome, Italy, to discuss the latest theoretical and applied advances in the field. ICECET serves as a premier international forum dedicated to bridging the gap between advanced research and practical applications, covering a wide spectrum of specialized areas including computer systems, artificial intelligence, and software engineering.
The InnovAIte project team utilized this platform to showcase the latest collaborative research and progress developed within WP6: AI-driven software. This year, the team was represented by Lukáš Radoský, who actively participated in the sessions and shared insights on automated repository analysis stemming from a joint effort between the project's academic and industry partners. A major highlight of the participation was the presentation of a paper reflecting the diverse innovation within contemporary software architecture recovery.
The contribution included Cindy: A Toolkit for Automated Architecture Recovery in Large Software Repositories. It is a comprehensive suite of tools designed to facilitate deep, multi-faceted repository comprehension. Moving beyond traditional code-centric methods, this approach introduces a holistic, artifact-inclusive analysis methodology combined with a multi-stage LLM-assisted validation process to provide AI agents and developers with the precise contextual understanding necessary for successful workflow execution.
The presentation at ICECET 2026 provided a valuable opportunity for the InnovAIte team to engage with the global technical community and discuss the implications of their research for the future of AI-driven software development.
