From January 28–31, 2026, the High Tatras hosted the 11th edition of HiVisComp. This traditional gathering of experts in computer graphics, image processing, and computer vision has become a cornerstone of the regional research community, fostering high-level scientific exchange.

The FMFI UK team used this platform to showcase the latest research and progress within the InnovAIte project. This year, FMFI UK team was represented by eight researchers and students, who actively participated in the discussions and shared the latest progress from our current projects.

A major highlight of the presentation was the talk by Viktor Kocur on the paper: RePoseD: Efficient Relative Pose Estimation With Known Depth Information.  This research, representing also an output of the project, was originally featured as an Oral paper at ICCV 2025. Achieving an oral slot is a prestigious milestone, as only 64 papers were selected out of 11,239 submissions (top 0.6% globally). The presentation at HiVisComp provided a valuable opportunity for the local community to engage with this world-class research and discuss its implications for the future of the field.
